Chris used a procedural texture based on a mathematical algorithm to create the tongue-and-groove wood siding on the outside of Meeks Store. The example above shows the Deep Texture Editor in Bryce 5.0, which gave him with a graphical user interface for creating the procedural texture. Despite shielding users from the underlying mathematics, the Deep Texture Editor is nevertheless tricky and time-consuming to use. |
