The South Rim walking and biking trails are extensive. Use restrictions apply; for example, the park prohibits bikes on the cliff-hugging Rim Trail for obvious reasons. At the Grand Canyon Visitor Center you can rent a bicycle to ride on paved “Greenway Trails" through the forest. Trails link sites in Grand Canyon Village and beyond.
